This is an Amazing 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, It has been beautifully restored by the current owner and is being sold with great regret. The owner has health reason that require this vehicle be sold. With a reputation for being a rugged off road beast, few trucks can compare to this 1971 hard top Land Cruiser. Built to give you the classic feel only this type of vehicle can give while suppling you the eye catching look of truck that just came off the show room floor. It has everything the classic car buyer wants and needs.
- It has the original restored straight 6 engine and 3 speed manual transmission.
- Dual front and rear zone heater.
- New Meridian Blue Metallic Paint.
- Rebuilt Brakes
- Rebuilt Front End
- Rebuilt Steering Box
- New Shocks
- New Gas Tank with Sending Unit and Gas Gauge
- New Clutch
- Hard Top is removable by taking a few bolts out.
The top was replaced with a rust free top found in Arizonia and shipped to Henderson Kentucky, where it was soda blasted by Hurst Blasting in Henderson.
Body work was completed by Cron's Body Shop in Boonville
Mechanical work was performed by Lowell's Service Center in Boonville and Car-X in Evansville.
There is no rust on the body or frame. It has been garage kept since the restoration began four and a half years ago. Title in hand and ready to drive.
This vehicle will start on the first attempt and will take off down the road with no issues.
This a mechanically and structurly sound car and would make the highlight of any collection. This car can be viewed at Andis Auction Co in Francisco by appointment only.
It is currently being stored inside the building. You can see the car by calling 812-677-8232. Please leave a message if no one answers. This is being purchased AS-IS with no warranty expressed or offered. Please look at all the pictures. If there is damage and I notice it, I will take a picture of it. All items AS IS regardless.
There is a one inch chip on the driver side door edge. This happened during the clutch replacement. There is a one inch chip in the original windshield Only 200 miles or so has been put on the Toyota since the restoration began.
It is recommend you come and look at the truck if your are truly interested. You won't be disappointed. There is a reserve on the vehicle that is half of the appraised value. I have an official appraisal that was completed by a reputable appraiser.
